Although many prefer to escape to the cottage during the warm summer months, my favorite time of year for enjoying the outdoors is the Fall. The mosquitoes are gone, the weather is cool and refreshing, and it's perfect for setting out on long adventurous hikes! As traditional my taste often is, I have been thinking lately about a modern retreat. When I stumbled upon the cottage of Toronto based jewellery designer, Anne Sportun, featured in Style at Home Magazine, I thought, "Exactly!" It's the perfect weekend retreat, blending beautifully with nature, completely simplified, floor to ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in, and of course Stulish!
