Designer Tom Scheerer creates a seductive Paris inspired interior in this Brooklyn townhouse. Soft walls and textures paired with antiques and old architectural elements create the perfect mix of old world for modern living. Look up and down at these images. The crown mouldings, the inlay flooring, the low panelling along the walls, that creates the illusion of even greater height. The careful selection and placement of exquisite furnishings reflects a style that is relaxed and unpretentious. 
We'll be seeing plenty of old world style this year, and it's sure to satisfy my never ending search for enduring design. I am looking forward to seeing the many variations that come together, especially when mixed with modern.
